Open Youth Access
The cost of conferences, ranging from several hundred to several thousand dollars, is currently excluding students from participation. Open Youth Access Program is designed to advance popularity of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects by giving selected young people FREE access to business, industry and scientific conferences. The program offers young people a positive ‘short cut’ to their careers, allowing them access to the latest knowledge, discoveries, innovations, trends, and opportunities by removing cost of participating in conferences’ sessions, workshops, demonstrations and other related activities. Open Youth Access program also aims at enriching the experience of other participants of conferences by exposing them to opinions and views from the youth perspective, which currently is practically non-existent in.
By 2030 Open Youth Access program should have a significant positive influence on lives of thousands of young Australians. Many of those young people will become decision makers of tomorrow and will have a major role in making Australia the global leader in innovation.
